  1. This is disk 978 of the freely distributable AMIGA software library.
  2. Below is a listing of the significant directories and their contents.

  5. MakeCat        Makes creating locale catalog files easy.  It makes catalog
  6.         files from ASCII files that contain the strings and ID
  7.         numbers that should be included in the catalog.  Reverse
  8.         operation is also possible with UnMakeCat, so that existing
  9.         catalogs can easily be translated or changed.  Includes
  10.         example of how to use locale.library to read catalogs.
  11.         Version 38.02, requires AmigaDOS2.1 or later.  Binary only,
  12.         freeware.

  15. Man        A simple MAN command, known from UNIX systems.  The advan-
  16.         tage is, that it recognizes .guide files to be AmigaGuideĀ©
  17.         documents.  MAN then uses a different viewer in order to
  18.         display the AmigaGuide document.  Furthermore MAN recog-
  19.         nizes TeX-DVI files as well, using a different viewer to
  20.         display them.  You may configure MAN using environment
  21.         variables.  Version 1.11a, public domain, includes source.

  24. MiserPrint    A print utility that puts up to 8 normal pages of text on
  25.         one sheet of paper.  You are able to save paper and time.
  26.         MiserPrint uses the small built-in fonts (Courier and Letter
  27.         Gothic) of the HP-Deskjet printers.  Version 1.11, an update
  28.         to version 1.0 on disk number 928.  Requires Kickstart 2.04
  29.         or higher, binary only, giftware.

  32. MouseClock    A hardware/software project of a low cost, very small
  33.         external battery backed up clock calendar for all Amigas
  34.         (especially for A1200, A500, A600).  It is connected to the
  35.         mouse port #2.  Version 1.22, shareware, includes source.

  38. NewEdit        A commodity, that patches all string gadgets of the system
  39.         (better:  it installs a global edithook for the string gad-
  40.         gets).  Beside some new edit functions, NewEdit supports
  41.         copy and paste of text between the clipboard and string gad-
  42.         gets.  Version 1.8, includes source.

  45. RachelValley    A 256 colour and 16 colour IFF picture of "Rachel Raccoon"
  46.         resting after a hike.  These pictures are suitable as Work-
